Education & Experience
Since Graduating from Florida State University in 2005 and The University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2009, Kailey has known that she wanted to be a lawyer that had a personal impact on her community. During law school always enjoyed family law, and even interned with a family law Judge to learn what a Judge would look for when deciding on a family law case. Kailey grew up in Orlando and her plan was always to work with the community here to help people in any way she can. Right after law school, Kailey worked in Jacksonville, Florida with a firm handling car accidents and slip and fall cases, but Central Florida kept calling her back. In 2014, she moved forward in her goal to help her Central Florida community by becoming as a prosecutor in Orange County.
From 2014 until 2017 at The 9th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office, Kailey had an opportunity to work with many members of the community, both law enforcement officers and victims of crime. Some of the most rewarding work that she had during that time was working with victims of domestic violence, who were not only dealing with the criminal justice system, but also family court injunctions and divorces. It was during that time that Kailey's passion for family law returned and she jumped at the opportunity to start practicing family law more.
